Typically, November 20 - December 3
This outreach will focus on food & relief supply distribution including seed and mosquito nets. November is springtime in the southern hemisphere and families & villages that can plant maize seed can provide for themselves for an entire season. November is also the beginning of the rainy season and malaria mosquitoes will increase. Mosquito net protection will be essential to saving lives later in the rainy season. The outreach also provides rural villages a community feast in celebratation of Thanksgiving. It is truly a Thanksgiving you will never forget.
Now he who supplies SEED to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in THANKSGIVING to God. — 2 Corinthians 9:10-11

This outreach is called an ACT of Thanksgiving. Over the Thanksgiving holiday, team members travel to Africa to distribute urgently needed see & mosquito nets; and celebrate Thanksgiving feasts in rural African villages. In this way we celebrate Thanksgiving and say 'THANK YOU' for all the blessings we enjoy. We are saying 'Thank You' with our actions, not just words. The ACT of Thanksgiving outreach is a very special outreach.
